r ready for spring. as per last year these will be held at Brackenhurst This year we will be raising money throughout the unaffiliated series for Spinal Research, by donating a £1 from every entry.

The Gillespie Macandrew Hopetoun International Horse Trials 

16th – 19th June 2016

M37_3315The event just gets better and better according to Olympic silver medallist Nicola Wilson who won two classes,  the event’s most prestigious class, the CIC 3* for the second consecutive year this time with her Badminton mount One Two Many and the CCI 2* on board Ngong Hills. Former World Champion event rider Zara Phillips also returned to Hopetoun in 2015. “We came up last year and really enjoyed it,” said Zara. “Everyone was really welcoming and it was good for the horses so we decided to come up again.”

Belton International Horse Trials

15th – 17th April 2016

2016’s Belton Horse Trials promises to be the biggest yet. With more entertainment, and not all of it involving horses, than ever before including a BRAND NEW interactive zone, an inter-hunt relay, mounted pony club games, over 100 trade stands, a family dog show and the world’s most talented and competitive eventers fighting it out over the testing Cross Country courses,

2016’s Osberton Round-Up

For five days at the end of September the usually tranquil Osberton Estate, just off the A1 in Nottinghamshire, was transformed into a hive of activity. With over 500 competitors, their grooms and support teams, officials, volunteers and traders descending on the beautiful parkland, Osberton International Horse Trials is cementing its place as one of the ‘go to’ events of the season!

The Bloomfields CCI2* went right down to the wire after a pole by overnight leaders Sam Griffiths and Paulank Kings River dropped them to fourth place enabling Tim Cheffings and his wonderful ride, Donator II to celebrate their incredible double clear in style with the biggest win of his career so far. Read more…..
