All systems go at Solihull Riding Club
July 3, 2024

Following the sad abandonment of Solihull (1) in May, its all systems go for Aspen Cooling Solihull (17th – 18th August) with entries now open.

Stuart has long been involved with the Warwickshire venue as course designer and his been involved with the design and construction of a new water complex that is set to feature in the August fixture.  Fences are inviting and fair to horses, with regular visitors noticing improvements and variations to the course ongoing throughout the season.

For those not familiar with Solihull Riding Club, the cross-country track will run mainly on established grassland, with some wooded areas also included.  All relevant ground works will be undertaken by the combined force of the Solihull and BEDE Events team to ensure the very best going for the cross-country and dressage.

Showjumping will take place in the Agria Equine Outdoor surfaced arena, with the warm-up in the covered arena adjacent.  All competition areas are within a 2-minute walk of the lorry park.

Now part of the BEDE family Solihull entrants will be eligible for the Agria Equine Lifetime BE100 league, the Arena Saddles Novice league and the EcoVoltz League, all of which offering generous end of season prize packages.  There is also the chance to win Charles Owen prizes for the Highest Placed Amateur rider, as well as dedicated Pony sections kindly supported by Project Pony

Entries are now open via the British Eventing website with ballot date set for 23rd July.  For full event information click here.
