Bede Events is to take over the running of Aske Horse Trials, 30th June – 1st July 2018. After organising the popular northern event for the past 3 years, Peter Hurley has stepped down and handed over the reins to BEDE Events.
“Organising Aske has been an exciting few years and would not have been possible without the amazing help from our volunteers, Earl and Countess of Ronaldshay and all our generous sponsors”, Peter commented. “I have worked with Stuart over the last few years and feel he will bring new and exciting ideas to Aske. I am sure Stuart and his team have the energy and enthusiasm needed to take Aske forward, as it is a very popular event which it would have been sad to lose.”
Aske Horse Trials has been running for over 17 years in the stunning grounds of Aske Estate by the kind permission of the Earl & Countess of Ronaldshay. The beautiful grounds which surround one of the most beautiful Georgian stately homes is a spectacular backdrop for the prominent horse trials.
Classes run from BE90 to Intermediate, and during the event you can enjoy the attractive grounds surrounding the home.
Aske Hall has been in the Dundas family since 1763 and provides a stunning backdrop to a weekend of top quality sport, entertainment and shopping. Lord Ronaldshay added “we extend a very warm welcome to BEDE Events and wish them every success in the coming years”.
BEDE Events already runs Oasby, Belton Park, Shelford Manor, Berkshire College, Firle Place and Osberton; Aske adds a new Northern venue to the line-up. BEDE Events Stuart Buntine remarked “We are really excited to take over the running of this popular event. Its history and place on the calendar shows its importance in the sport”.
