This is a decision we did not think we would be announcing at this stage, with regret, joint organisers BEDE Events, and Solihull Riding Club announce the cancellation of the Aspen Cooling Solihull (2) event on 29th and 30th August, Unfortunately, the low number of entries means that the event is no longer financially viable. Preparing the site in accordance with our planned arrangements and delivering the high standards expected of a British Eventing competition, requires significant investment in manpower, machinery, and associated resources. Regrettably, the cost of doing so would far outweigh the income from entries received to date. By making the difficult decision to cancel now, we hope to give competitors as much opportunity as possible to reroute to other British Eventing fixtures.
We are extremely disappointed not to be able to welcome competitors, owners, volunteers, and supporters to Solihull this year, and we thank everyone for their understanding and continued support.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Solihull (1)in 2027.
Other BE Fixtures who still have capacity for additional entries, and we would love to see competitors support include: Wellington – BE100 & Novice (28th – 31st Aug), West Wilts, BE80, BE90, BE100 & Nov (5th – 6th Sept).

Course Information
We continue with changes and improvements to all courses. A mix of portable and permanent fences. The track will run mainly on grassland with some wooded areas. Inviting fences fair to horses. The ground will be aereovated if necessary. All phases within 2 minutes walk from the lorry park (even for slow coaches) and the dressage warm up has excellent going and improved space. Show jumping phase will be on a surface.

Excellent overnight accommodation available within the curtilage from Hogarths.
Locally: The Barn Motel, Hockley Heath.
Caravan & Camping – unlimited space. Hot and cold water plus showers on site. Luxury toilets sited around the event.

Stabling is available onsite for £50 for one night, £30 for each night extra. Limited Hook Up is available for £30.

Notices
Show Jumping Warm-Up Policy – Our stewards will stick to timetabled slots as much as they can, but please always check with them before warming up (and preferably before coming down to the ring). They will endeavour to get ahead of schedule if possible. Where there are gaps, it maybe possible for riders to slot in a certain extent but not out of section – this system is implemented to ensure section runs according to times.
