The cross country course will follow a simialr route to 2023. There is great viewing as maximum use of lawns will provide cahce to see plenty. The course will have lots of atmosphere as it loops around the main arena and trade village. The ground is good and stand up to spring rain, further development of the courses is planned. It will be up to height and of International Standard – the national classes will have some easier flagging in combinations. All international SJ takes place on the lawns with the National SJ in an outside arena.

This year we are excited to be able to offer camping back at Thoresby. All camping will be situated in the centre of the show ground. All camping is NON HOOK UP, to enable us to keep the cost down for you. To book please visit the ticket page. There is limited Stabling Available on-site at Thoresby. Stables MUST BE booked at the time of entry. Stables will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Stabling is £188 inc VAT for the duration of the event. Each stable will be treated by Equine Bio Genie, prior to your arrival and each stable will include 2 bales of bedding. Additional bedding can be purchased at time of entry for £9 per bale, and onsite at £10 per bale.
4* Stabling Derogation
As per 2023, all 4* horses must either be stabled onsite or have filled out the FEI Stable Derogation Form prior to arriving on site. Failure to do so, will affect your entry and competition.
Hook Up will be available for the duration of the event at £115 inc VAT. Hook Up MUST BE booked at the time of entry.
Show Jumping Warm-Up Policy – Our stewards will stick to timetabled slots as much as they can, but please always check with them before warming up (and preferably before coming down to the ring). They will endeavour to get ahead of schedule if possible. Where there are gaps, it maybe possible for riders to slot in a certain extent but not out of section – this system is implemented to ensure section runs according to times.
All personnel attending the event in a horsebox/car & trailer, DO NOT need a ticket or car pass to get in. All riders will get TWO car passes, for the duration of the event. These will need to be applied for using the link below. Please ensure you apply for your Rider Car Passes by Monday 25th March, any applications past this date cannot be guaranteed to be fulfilled.
All British Eventing Registered Owners will receive a complimentary car pass, via email, to the email registered with British Eventing. For more information on Owners Admission please CLICK HERE
1st – 3rd Prize Winners and Winning Owners are required to attend Prize Giving. Failure to do so will result in Prize Money being forfeited. All International classes will have an unmounted prize giving next to the main arena. Rosettes will be awarded to at least 10th place in all classes, and prize money can be claimed from the link at the top of the page. This link is the only way to claim Prize Money from The Eventing Spring Carnival. All forms need to be submitted by 21st April 2024. After this date we cannot guarantee Prize Money to be paid out.
We’ve been coming to Oasby for years, and it always makes a great start and finish to the season. You know the courses are going to be fair and the ground good. Stuart and his team always go above and beyond!
